some of my favourite films

I'm in bed with flu but the good news is all the DVDs lined up. Already in the player:
The Devil Wears Prada (2006). I've been a huge Meryl Streep fan for many years. My
favourite sentences in that film is when Miranda [Meryl Streep] says: "Florals for
spring? Groundbreaking." And "By all means move at a glacial pace. You know how
that thrills me."

The Hours (2002). Another film starring Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman's finest role
as Virginia Woolf. The cast of this film is absolutely amazing and Stephen Daldry directs
it (do you remember his film Billy Elliot (2000)?).

Sense and Sensibility (1995). Emma Thompson is also a favourite of mine. She wrote
the screenplay for the film and won the Oscar for it. She was also nominated in the
category Best Actress in a Leading Role. I love this film.

There are two other films on the table: Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994) and He's
Just Not That Into You (2009)

  1. Aaw, hope you feel better soon!
But at least having a few good movies at hand can make even the worst days a bit brighter :)
